The Vines, Western Australia

The Vines is a 5-star resort and golf club located in the Swan Valley of Western Australia. It is one of the premier golf courses in the State. The Swan Valley is the oldest wine growing region in Western Australia having more than 30 wineries located within the area.

The Vines Golf Club is located at the foothills of the Darling Ranges and is merged with the vineyards of the Swan Valley. The club consists of two well designed and challenging 18 hole championship courses, Lakes course and Ellenbrook course. The club was established in 1989 and was designed by well known architects Graham Marsh and Ross Watson.

This championship course is located among native Australian bushland, and consists of raised greens, vast undulating fairways, bunkers, water hazards, natural slopes, grassy hollows and troughs, all complemented by the beautiful Swan Valley terrain.

There is also a bar and fine dining restaurant and the Novotel hotel.

The Vines Golf Club has hosted a number of major golf events including the Heineken Classic and the Johnnie Walker Classic.

The Mark Tibbles International Golf Academy located at the club has well developed practice ranges and golf training programs for amateurs and for those keen on developing their golf skills.

The Vines Resort & Country Club provides facilities such as tennis, squash, swimming and outdoor activities including visits to the local wineries, art galleries or a nature walk.

Kangaroos can often be seen grazing on the resort grounds, and the resort golf course is open 7 days a week.
