Staughton Bed and Breakfast, Glen Iris

Situated in leafy Glen Iris, just a short drive from the boutiques and restaurants of Armadale, South Yarra and Toorak, Staughton is stylish and exclusive. Exclusive because it only takes one couple at a time. Carole and Barry, who are well travelled know how to pamper their guests while providing unobtrusive service.

Guests have an upstairs suite, with a private bathroom and cosy sitting room, but are welcome to use the formal lounge and dining room downstairs. Carole, who has a background in catering serves the delicious breakfast in the dining room which overlooks the pretty front courtyard garden. As well as the usual breakfast items you may enjoy poached seasonal fruit, homemade oat muffins and preserves, plunger coffee and scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.

Tourists and corporate guests will enjoy the friendly hospitality and local knowledge which is lacking in the large hotels.
